I want to improve the "feeling" of guns in my game - I'm using the stock ones (Commando, Uzi, Python, Mossberg, Tavor, Colt .45 and grenades) with new gunspecs made by Gendestroier.

I changed the firing sounds and tweaked the recoil values: they are way better now but I still don't like them...

So, as the title says, do you have any useful tips?

Try different shaders on top of these changes, perhaps.

I agree you might get some great results with some better shaders.

Correct me if I am wrong, but, I think Comby was asking for tips on how to improve the mechanics of the weapons.
