Here is my attempt at learning modeling in Autodesk 3ds Max 2012. Never did it before, so yeah....

Some sort of alien warrior or something. Just used some MS Paint quickly made pictures to paste onto the parts. If I learn how to morph the parts more I'll sharpen the pitchfork, shape up the body so it doesn't look like a dress/skirt, and buff up the limbs.

I have never used Max before, so, I can't judge on its learning curve. I use Blender myself. But, for your first ever models, you are doing well.

Keep practising and you will show real potential!

My only advice would be, always think of perspective. What I mean by this is, by making the box for the matches thinner (as it would be in real life) your model will retain that level of realism.

Well I added more stuff. Hopefully when I go to school for Game Design I'll improve with proper teaching.
