Actually, it has turned out to be warmer than Virginia since I got here. It's been above freezing, including at night, for the past few days and looks like it will get even warmer through at least Sunday.

My husband back in Virginia is fighting with the cold and snow.

When we want the really cold weather, we'll head up to Coldfoot Camp. It is 60 miles above the Arctic Circle. A fabulous place for Aurora watching.
