The free version will have the following limitations:
- Only stick and slide response modes available. The auto-gravity handling and "no response" modes will not be available in the free version.
- There is no dynamic mesh support for the free version. So if you plan on having moving platforms, it will not work with the free version.
- There will not be any ray-cast commands in the free version.
- The alignment functions for aligning a decal to a vector will not be in the free version.
- The various concave modes may be restricted in the free version as well. (not decided yet)
The free version
WILL have:
- Multiple mesh support
- Ellip - 2 - Ellip collision
- Ellip - 2 - Mesh collision
- Slide and Stick response methods
The commercial copy will run a one-time fee of $15 and it's yours forever basically. You can use it on team projects as well without paying us again. And you'll have free access to the DB Classic and Blitz versions of the collision package, once they're ready.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
