another noob question. am I able to export a model that has a texture on it, and be able to show in dbpro?

Probably - just make sure you have both the object and the texture in the project folder.

Hi there.
@Mikeygd3 . Blender has two REDERS...the reder as all 3D programs , and a GAME RENDER. When we unwrap our object , pressing U key, and loading an image from UV Image Editor, we can see our object textured in the BGE (Blender Game Engine) , and we can export it, but in order to show automatically the texture in Dbpro, we have to apply texture pressing F6 and loading the same texture that we add before, and when we see our object textured en the Blender Render pressing F12, then the object automatically will load the texture, if not, we will have to load from Dbpro our texture and apply manually to our object. Of course, youn will have to put texture in same folder with your object.
