It is possible. Make the model, animate it, Assign per poly collision in FPE file, set up scripting, test, and there you have it.

There are a few little tools you will need.

There is nothing easy about it.

Do you know how to model in a 3d program? (you need the model)
Then the model will need bone animation (Has to have bone animation for per poly detection), then export to FPSC. Run it thru the per poly id program, prep the FPE file then script it.

This is not really a new person task. It is not impossible, just a bit of pre planning and prep.

He told you how already... You need to go and learn a 3d modeling tool such as Milkshape, Blender, Maya, etc. Then you need to learn how to uv map, texture and animate a model, as well as be able to correctly import it into FPSC. It is an easy task for someone who already has those skills, however a difficult one for you who is inexperienced.

If you are curious of how to get started, I would recommend downloading the free version of Milkshape from http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/.
