I have downloaded the borland c++ porgram to make dlls for DBPro, but i don't know how (A) to write them and (B) how to set up borland, can anyone help,

ok the first step is to install the compiler and compile the helloworld.cpp. Then learn how to compile a dll, then learn how to make a dbp TPC.

LOL, try going (http://developer.thegamecreators.com/?f=t03/index) and take a look at the .DLL tutorial. It teaches you how to make .DLL's for DBPro. (I couldn't load them though as I don't know how), but maybe you could figure that one and help me at the same time . Goodluck.

I haven't used Borland C++ for DBPro plug-in, so I can't help you with issues that you may have. But if you check my site, you can download the utility plug-in (with source) and the framework there too.

I mostly use Visual C++.NET, but just recently I've reinstalled Visual C++ 6 so that I can provide my interface library for that too.

If you want VC++ compatibility without the price, why not get the Digital Mars compiler for free. For a small price you can get a CD edition with an IDE.
