I tried this!

But it doesn't seem to work!

I don't know any HTLM.

you get garbled output because:

You have messed up filename. rename file with a .zip on end, then you will find link below will work. Browsers need to know file extension to know how to handle it

FTP is used just for you to upload your files. You very rarely use it to link. Once on your website you link like I showed you above. Suggest you create a basic HTML page, call it INDEX.HTML and upload it. Tada, you know have a website!
