AppGameKit Classic Chat / AGK Font Packs and AGK v2

I am planning on purchasing an AppGameKit Font Pack, but I only have AppGameKit v2 and I don't want to discover that I should have waited for an updated font pack.

Are the AppGameKit Font Packs compatible with AppGameKit v2? Will the font packs be superseded by a newer product designed to leverage v2 capabilities?

I guess they would still be compatible, since a font is basically stored as a large imagefile. Besides the commercial font pack, you might be interested in several font generators that community-members have made available for free. You can use them to quickly produce your own 'AGK-font' from font-files that reside on your system. This thread links to all of them (that I currently know of).

I looked at the font generators and appreciate the info. However, I am inclined to go with the font packs since there will be no licensing worries.

The font packs should work fine in V2 although I haven't tested the them font system has not been changed from V1 to V2. I have them all and they are very useful.
