Is there any way to reduce the size of my compiled programs. They're always about 4mb, even when I compile very small programs with no media.

coincidence? how about pure cosmic convergence!

not really because dbp puts the whole kitchen sink into each compile.
(kitchen sink being dx dll's and stuff)

Using patch 3 version of DBP you can get executables under 1MB.

You could try an exe-compressor like UPX (http://upx.sourceforge.net/).
Don't know how well it works with DBpro, though (DBClassic executables need modifications).

Me, I'll sit and write this love song as I all too seldom do
build a little fire this midnight. It's good to be back home with you.
