DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / Cannot load any media

hello, I'm having some major issues. No matter what I do I can't get any media to load. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

LOAD OBJECT "Tree 1.dbo",12

whenever I try this or any other file I just get the "file does not exist" error

Just checking... The file is in the same directory as your project, right?

Make sure you make a project .dbpro file dba filew can not work with relative paths.

you mean directory as in "C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional Online\Media" ? then yes, the file still does not load.

And the treemagik extension makes the models .dbo, I've tried .x too though, neither work

He means that your media files must be in the same folder as your project files (the *.dba and *.dbpro files). So if your project's source was in "C:\MyGame", then your media files must in that folder as well (or in a sub-folder within that directory, ex: "C:\MyGame\Media"). At that point you can use
