I really wish AppGameKit would support Amazon ads and IAP.
I just got this in my email - would be awesome if I could take advantage of it.

Quote: "Dear Developer,

As we continue to expand our Amazon Mobile Ads service we are excited to announce a new opportunity for you to earn a guaranteed rate of $1.50 CPM on banner ads during March and April 2014.

Download the latest version of the SDK here.
Integrate the Amazon Mobile Ads API into your app* and send the first ad request between February 4th and April 30th, 2014. If you don't have an app on Amazon yet, it's easy to get started. Test your app using our updated testing service and submit it to us for free.
Earn $1.50 or more for every 1,000 qualifying impressions displayed on the app during March and April 2014 (up to 2 million impressions per app per month).
* Existing apps already sending ad requests do not qualify. Existing developers who integrate the Amazon Mobile Ads API into another app for the first time will qualify. Qualifying apps may be distributed through other Android stores as long as they are distributed through Amazon.

Best Regards,
Amazon App & Services Distribution Team"

If anyone is able to create a modified Eclipse project for me that uses Amazon ads instead of AdMob then I'd be willing to provide monetary compensation. Please email me to discuss further.

Unfortunately for me I already took advantage of their last promotion with my most popular app (for which they sent a free Kindle HDX) but I'll still see about porting an AppGameKit app over... It may have to be done Tier 2, and Amazon's ad service is pretty harsh in that it doesn't even support refreshes so you must do that manually or else you'll only get one impression per launch. As soon as there is an Amazon Adapter for Google Admob Mediation it'll be easy to implement even in the current version of AppGameKit (Tier 1 too).

I'd need mine in T1 - Seems like you could take the existing java, remove admob sdk and replace with Amazon SDK. I'd be OK with one ad per call, we currently create and destroy on demand and do not show ads in a persistent way (they appear after every turn). If you can make the changes to just the Eclipse project for T1 then I'd be willing to work out a compensation deal with you (maybe a percentage of the ad revenue for some time). We've got some time before the deal expires!

I worry that Tier 1 may not be possible due to the way the commands are essentially hard-coded into the interpreter and initializing/calling Amazon ads uses different syntax, methods etc. However, it may still be possible to add the required Amazon SDK and instantiate/control the ads in a simplistic way from the Android template, outside of the Tier 1 bytecode... Afraid it'll be awhile before I can check it out myself, as Intel has expressed interest in another project from me with a real tight deadline to get it done. But I'll post an update when and if I get around to this soon.

I do really wish Paul would add official Amazon support though--including IAP as Amazon is at least the second largest market for Android right now, and from my experience even more popular than Google Play for many apps.

Cool, thanks and good luck on the work with Intel.

I also wish AppGameKit would implement Amazon IAP and Ads. It is a big market and appears to have matured nicely.

If anyone else is willing to take a stab, my offer is still open.
