Hello, fellow forum goers.

I have developed a procedural effect for the opening screen of a new project I’m working on. The effect is run in a windowed fullscreen - low resolution display mode. The effect runs at 60 frames per second, which is what my windows vertical sync setting is set at. I can go to a higher resolution but, I optimized this more for the visual effect. I am developing this on a netbook and the low resolution, just seems more appealing. Sorry, I don’t have video capabilities but, here is a static image.

All I ask, is if someone could test the executable on a normal sized monitor and let me know if this is at least passable.

Thank you.

the actual tunnel itself is quite passable @ 1680x1050. what detracts from the quality, to me, is the "furthest reaches" or distant end of the tunnel (maybe the last 1/3).

could you blur, smooth or fade the "back" 1/3 of the tunnel somehow? that's where the blockiness is. the wall in the "closest" 1/2+ is quite nice but the back is distracting.

otherwise, the font resolution should be upped (and i wouldn't use red as a border).

still, "passble", in my book, as is. nice work

Looks decent at 2560x1080. Makes one dizzy, it is hypnotising, though.
Agreed with the poster above, some blur in the centre could be useful. Pixels shimmer a little bit too much.

Also, nostalgia kicked in.

Hope it helps.
