Alrighty, John Wu and I have finally finished our first level. Next level takes place inside a rocket. How we are going to do this part, is we are going to have a circular room, looking like the inside of the rocket.

this doesnt work for me though

When I use this and all the parameters it requires it doesnt load it... Anybody know how I can do this? Just a cirular floor. Thats it. The end. No help with anything else. Seriously we are fine.

Here's an easy circular floor from a sphere:

You can change those 50's to increase or decrease the detail.
The amount of faces will probably make this difficult to texture, though.

A cone can be used for a much simpler version:

You could also just use a square floor and hide the corners with the walls of your ship (a cylinder shape, I presume?)

I'll whip you one up in Blender if these don't work.
I have nothing better to do. LoL

The reason make object circle is not working for you, is because it is actually two separate commands:
make object object Number, mesh Index, image Number
and
circle x, y, radius

Unfortunately, make object circle is not a real command.

You could follow the above mentioned methods, but here is another option using transparency on a plane.

And here is the image used:

My post in this thread - Make a flat hexagon plane? - has a function that will make a circular floor.

@Phaelex yours helped us out for another problem which was the inside. But it acts like the insides are part of it, any idea how to make the inside of the cylinder null?

@wattywatts we dont have anything to make the models in atm. So we have to make all the objects from scratch, if we could we wold just make a rocket and we would be done, but we can't.

In that case I'd suggest some free bare bones modeling programs; Anim8or (a lot of people would suggest blender, but it's hardly noob friendly, especially if graphics aren't your main area of concentration)and UVMapper classic.

New sig coming soon..

Blender is 100% Free, and can do/make just about anything you want.

You guys might as well find a modeling program you really like, because I guarantee you will eventually outgrow making primitive models in DBPro.

Don't get me wrong - once you have good models and textures, DBPro will allow you to do anything you can imagine, with much study and effort, of course.
