hi to all,

i want to create a new project for mobile platforms as ios and android, a 2d platform game, and i have some questions,

1) is posible to use Tiled to design the levels and use different layers for collisions énemies, objects,...?

2) does AppGameKit manage the memory better than other engines as corona or cocos? The platform game will have big levels

3) basically is possible to make a game in AppGameKit like leps world or incredible jack as example and run smooth on mobile devices?

thanks to all in advance,

Yes you can used Tiled maps. Though not natively supported, a few of us have designed importers.

Here's mine that I've started working on again:

Clonkex has built upon my older version and added additional features such as support for objects and properties.

While I believe AppGameKit does have some level of garbage collection, you would still want to delete images and free arrays when you know you won't be using them again.

I'm not familiar with those games, but looking at a youtube video of incredible jack, that should entirely be possible in AGK.
