You are in the very beginning. I don't see an 'engine', just a very simple sandbox that probably don't have any game mechanics. You'd better post some screenshots LATER, when you've got some real features to show. And for such starter project better use WIP thread, where you can post your project at any stage.

All your TGC are belong to us.

Hey mr Handy. Thanks for the feedback. Did you downloaded the engine to see what is with it? . I will release though a new update with lots more fixes and features. I don't have on the "gameplay" too many functions because i am focusing on making the editor very good to be very fast and very good in making levels, i said this a few posts ago. I really think that i should finish with this and after that working on the "gameplay" mechanics to communicate very smooth with what the developer did in the engine.

Well, at least you seem to have some idea of what you want and are making progress

Nice one MateiSoft, keep up the good work. Successful game engines start from something bland and basic.

You asked for constructive feedback, so now you're gonna get some.

You are brave posting your work at this stage outside of the WIP thread with no logo or screenshots in the first post. You have 3 seconds to impress most of your audience, then your first impression is carved in stone.

The mind takes shortcuts when making an analysis of what it perceives and makes subconscious conclusions about something or someone based on what it wants the person to feel.

Your introduction to what ought to be your precious beloved trade mark is not going to make your life any easier.

Nice game engine, but this thread is not well presented; and talk of anti-virus woes will not make things any better. For that matter I do not think you would have been criticized as much you did if the the thread was more well presented.

Personally I would start a new thread in the WIP section, and give it as much attention to detail as you would your user interface.

Hey Chris,

I didn't posted any photos because i didn't made a big update for the graphics, but for the mechanics.
I will use your advice and start a new thread on the WIP section.

Nice progress!
But not easy for me to gize exhaustive feedback at this early stage..
I tried it but was very slow..

I have also started the thread I said

Very early stage too but maybe you'll find some ideas..

All hail the new flesh

I know, but many people will not think that.

At least a logo should be posted; something that looks more like a game engine development journal. I started mine with just a logo; (actually it was a logo that linked to my old website); eventually your screenshots will improve and you will be spoiled for choice when posting them; but for now I recommend diagrams and illustrations showing what the benefits and features of the engine will be; and your progress on the mechanics.

Diagrams, illustrations and screenshots; these attract attention and focus on the point you are trying to make. On a graphics design level, it gives your message more weight against the more prominent graphics on the screen; such as the back button...

Good luck; it is nice to have some strong competition lol. I am working on an engine too; I am building my 3D object format today
