I don't like First Person Shooters. Forget Reloaded, bring back the good old games! DBP Reloaded!

Naturally the company has to work on the projects most likely to generate revenue. I'm not a huge FPS fan, but shooters will always be a staple genre in the gaming world.

I plan on buying AppGameKit soon, along with more TGC model packs, and I will probably buy AppGameKit for my son also.

I'm glad to hear that DBP is continuing to be developed internally.
By the time a new version is released I may be able to buy that too!

I do feel that the current free version of DBP is all anyone could really ask for in a free editor. What's better than free and highly functional?!

I would like to see a DBP version that includes features like object occlusion without needing a plugin, and even something like an automatic LOD land generator, where you just supply a huge heightmap and DBP splits it up into LOD sections with no hassle. Now THAT would be worth a nickel or two!

If DBP gets better, the chances are higher that someone will create and release a great game, and every time someone does that DBP will get more sales.

Good point, though I think the mobile device market is overshadowing PC gaming at the moment, or at least it seems that way to me.

Personally I'm not a fan of playing games on small screens, so I'll continue to program in DBP for myself, and hopefully come up with a great AppGameKit game to eventually sell on the market.

The most basic problems I see with the mobile market are over saturation, and a customer base that tends not to dig for indie games. PC games get around by word of mouth more so than mobile, while mobile games get around by advertising campaigns.
I released an iOS game a while back that I thought was pretty good, not perfect or anything but it was fun to play. But nobody knew it existed, and I didn't even make enough in the first year to cover the developer fee. The most sure fire way to sell copies of your mobile game is to spend mucho dinero on marketing, regardless of the quality of the game itself.

Sweet, any news at all is good at this point.
I wouldn't care if we have to throw money at it or whatever - any updates to performance would seriously make my day!
