Hello its me again
to replace my matrix with a terrain I thought I use Blitzwerk terrain. Now I got some problems with the textures.

1. I use a 1024x1024 terrain and a texture with the same size. what can I make that the texture is not looking so stretched?

Idea: I place 4 256x256 terrains and make the endings looks the same so everyone think it is one big terrain. But I am hoping there is a another solution.

2. Is there a way to add some more textures?

Thank you for helping

System: Win 8.1 64 / Core i5 (3,9GHz), GeForce 760 GTX 192 - Bit Dx 11 (Driver 335.23) / 8GB Ram

I think the solution is much simpler than creating multiple terrains.
Every terrain system (which one are you using?) should support detail textures. What you're using there seems to be the base texture. There surely is some command letting you define a detail texture as well, and you'd just keep the base texture undefined or use a white image or something like that.
Well, I haven't worked with 3D terrains in years, but as far as I remember that's the way to go.

I understand now it works great thank you. Now I only want to know if there is a way to add some more detail textures. For example: to make a path or something like that.

There are a few shaders which will create cool blitzterrains.

I'm using one of Green Gandalfs shaders. Check it out!
