Hey, working on my indoor lazer tag arena and want to know if there is a way to simulate blacklight? What I am basically getting at is have the ambient glow a pale purple like in real blacklight rooms but the "neon" colors much brighter than the rest of the texture but still visible to see.
Pretty much I am guessing for the purple glow I can just use a colored light and adjust it to my needs. but for adding the second light to highlight the neon coloring and make it look blacklightish. I searched both here and Reloaded forums for any help and came up with a few questions but no solid responses.

Seems like something you could do with a shader, but it's not my forte. Sorry.

Look into using an illumination map.

Quick question to add. Will a shader made with RenderMonkey or FX Composer work here? Both are .fx files or can I use any .fx shader available?

You can try any .fx shader available... some even work!

Its a trial and error process... keep in mind that most will not work as intended but can still give interesting or entertaining results.
