OK, anyone know where theres a good deal on a domain name and web hosting? I'll probably be after a .co.uk (as its cheaper) or a .net. Any good ones?

When banshee first went .com we plumped for [href]www.active-venture.com[/href]. The service was ok and the connections and bandwidth allowed sustained a small freeware site no problem.

As we grew we outstripped their ability to host us, and [href]www.vapournet.com[/href] seemed the best of the next tier of hosting deals.

Above that it seems the best thing to do is either have your own server, or get a deal together with somebody who has. My teams site is now hosted on a corporate server with a company who sponsor our kart team.

God created the world in 7 days, but we're still waiting for the patch.

I use oneandone and am very impressed. Speed is excellent

Yes it's only £1.99 +VAT per year which is pretty good. On top of that you pay £4.99 +VAT per month. I have this option.

Biggest downer though is no PHP.

freewebs.com is the best? lol
I've always like flatface.net, but for some reason they've been offline for 'bout a month. I'm checking out domaindlx.com
they look pretty good. Downside is they have ASP, not PHP...
