Greetings.

I'm currently using a dual monitor setup and would like to know if anyone is aware of a way to view 2 separate code files within the same compiler application, split between the same monitor. My goal would be to display the tab for the Main file on one monitor, and the tab for an Auxiliary file, say, the TitleMenu file, on my other monitor.

I'd like to be able to easily switch back and forth between monitors and edit/add code while being able to view the other file and do quick edits there, then have it all save and compile without any nonsense. I've tried a few ways to make it work but haven't stumbled upon the proper way to do it, yet.

So after some more playing I figured it out

-I kept my normal "Extended Display" option through my Windows Display Settings.

-I >restored< the DarkBasic Pro Compiler Window

-I drag-sized the restored window to fit both screens.

-I right-clicked the desired file's tab and selected "New Vertical Tab Group"

The File was then split off into a side-by-side display across both screens. With minor adjusting, it was perfect! I can even add visibility on additional File tabs this way.

Cheers!

Edit: Extra bonus is that the compiler stays up on my 2nd screen, so I can just run my mouse to that display and click to bring my compiler back up on both screens. Quite convenient!

Glad you worked it out yourself, gives a better sensation than being told how to do something

Lol, cool. It all depends on how much you need to view simultaneously, really. A setup like that would be great for viewing and modifying large projects. I'm happy just being able to see code in 3 different files in my compiler at once.
