I keep getting an error with AppGameKit v1.08, when I try to compile anything.

The error is 'Failed to load OpenGL extension glCreateShader'
it then says 'Your graphics card does not support on or more OpenGL features required by this program Please check if there are any driver updates available for your card'.

At the risk of stating the obvious, it sounds like your graphics card doesn't support OpenGL 2 which is required by the more recent versions of AGK. Are you using an integrated graphics card?

It does support it as per the image below.

I have the latest driver running as well.

Sorry maybe I'm being dense here but I don't see anywhere in that screenshot that shows that your graphics card supports OpenGL 2.0. The fact that it's an Intel card makes me things that it's integrated and probably unable (or unable with the current drivers at least) to handle OpenGL 2.0 shaders.

Other people have had the same issue before. The difference is that V108 moves from OpenGL 1.1 to OpenGL 2.0. You can see one of the previous discussions on the issue here. Basically unless you upgrade your graphics card, or can find newer drivers that support OpenGL 2.0, I don't think AppGameKit V108 will run for you.

@Lucas - the window he is showing is for OpenGL settings.

@FPS:
Try this to verify that you actually have openGL 2.0 and not 1.x

It should list glCreateShader as an extension if you have it. If not check for driver updates per usual. Some integrated video cards purposely have certain openGL features removed (at the annoyance of many end-users).
