FPSC Classic Product Chat / entities get stuck a lot

I have read all kinds of posts on this problem, but I am still unsure how to actually solve it, so please don't flame me too bad. Entities seem to get stuck all of the time on even mildly uneven floors. Waypoints seem useless here for the same reason. Is there any way to get them to follow the terrain without getting stuck?

Note: I am not afraid of the scripting, so fire away.

Hi keithml,

In order to other people on this forum may help you, you should provide additional information about the issue, such as:

A . What is the version of FPS Creator Classic are you using?

B .When the problem occurs, always, seldom or randomly?

C . If possible would be nice if you could show the problem in a video?

Because the more information you give about the problem, the greater the chances of someone on this forum may help you.

For example, I am using the version 1.18.0.15 and way points work fine there; however, sometimes the character might get stuck, but just sometimes.

When this happens try this: click with the right mouse button on the character and then in the Inspector panel, try to lift a little, not much, the character off the ground, by clicking the button 'page up.' Next, click on 'Apply Changes' button. Sometimes this is enough to solve the problem.

I am using V1.20.19_beta_v1.19 and the problem occurs always on uneven terrain. I don't have the problem with flat floors. An example is in the Western Pack (mp 73)place bumpy desert terrain or even the flat terrain segments and then any of the horses and make them follow waypoints with the scripts in the Western Pack.

It may not be possible to set waypoints across uneven floors in this engine, if not, I wanted to know if there was some scripting alternative to keep the characters from looking like they had "dug in".

FPSC Classic is not for uneven terrain! So there is no really a thing you can do. Of course you can make some flat pieces and place your enemy there!
