Hi,

I'm looking for a way to debug X format files. I've got an exporter which produces files that works with all TGC products (we use it in our products Forester Pro, the tree creator, and Medusa Pro, the rock creator) and the models import fine into DBPro. However, they don't import into XNA. Does anyone know of a file verification tool so we can track down the issue? After much staring at the files and the code we can't spot any problems.

Thanks Mr Valentine....I know the SDK well. Spent a lot of time reading the X format specifications and as far as I can tell the files my exporter produces are compliant (they certainly open in DBPro).

I vaguely remember many years ago finding an X files checker that went through and flagged up errors...alas I can no longer find it.

I wish TGC products would support FBX or Collada!
