I know this was probably posted before, but I could not find it. I created a game using FPSC, but when I open it, all it shows is the default loading screen and loading audio. I want to know how to get past this so that people can actually play my game.

Hi Shawn Reynolds

I take it you have already "built" your game? And when you say
"it shows is the default loading screen", is it blank or does it show the main menu? Almost sounds like your "setuplevel.fpi" is messed up. Also open some "sub" folders and check to make sure all necessary files where copied over correctly during the build.

What version are you using for your builds?

When it shows the default loading screen, it is like a green background image with no menu. I do not know what version I am using, but I cannot fix it. Every time I open the program, it now freezes at the loading screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't work. I think it might be a problem with my laptop.

It would help if you did know. As when someone tries to use V1.0
without updating problems like these happen (crashes, freezes..ect).

I see now, I thought it was a build problem.
Your just trying to run the program. What OS is your laptop running? Have you installed DX9 yet? Also check your laptop graphics card, some are not compatible unfortunately.

My laptop is running Windows 8, and yes, I have DX9. I have given up on this, because I now have FPSC x10 and it works perfectly. But I have a question about x10, is there a way to use death animations in it?

Well, I was wrong about x10 working perfectly. When I go to build my game, it builds a sample arena game instead of my game. Is there any way to fix it?

What Torrent site did you get X10 from?

Cheers
