Hello all...

I've found so many generous people here, I feel the need to give something back.

I have a collection of at least a half-dozen cd's with quality sound effects lying around, too may to list easily. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

If these sounds are not generated by you , you should perhaps state they are for non-commercial use. Unless it says on the CD sleeve or elsewhere you can actually use them commercially.. which would be awesome.

They are all free to use as you wish, no restrictions. I've used them to create everything from pc sound schemes to AM/FM radio commercials, program promos & PSA's to community theater & amateur film SFX.

Jeeeez...just about everything. Environmental, animals, car & street, even amusement park. One whole disc of just military sfx (air raid sirens, all types of small arms, missiles, rockets, artillery, full scale battles, huey gunships, a 20mm Vulcan cannon, etc.). One whole disc of planes, trains and automobiles, and a 2 disc set of just about anything under the sun. Unfortunately, no sci-fi fx at the moment, but damn near everything else; I even have the full cycle of a .50 cal mg: load, lock, cock & fire.

Specifics? Too much to upload all at once. Let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do.

Again, you'll have to be a bit more specific; I have over 100 of each. Thunder & lightening? Rivers and streams? Gunshots, cannon fire, small arms, semi-auto or full auto? Aircraft? Explosions? Or would you like me to try and post the full library and let you select for yourself?

I can whip up zip fills with a text list of the sfx on each cd if you want.

If you could do that then it would be much appreciated.

Or you could do this, but I dont want you to go out of your way just for me, and other viewers

Having some issues uploading .rar files. Taking forever to post. Will post the military sfx track list whilst I figure out the problem.

OK, solved.

kingofmk98, here are the links to download the files:

part 1: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbQn4DPzq-aOHR3bWNxQk82aFU/edit?usp=sharing

part 2: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbQn4DPzq-aZFc2Yjh3TnhROEU/edit?usp=sharing

part 3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbQn4DPzq-aa3NZal9NN2VUMFE/edit?usp=sharing

It's a little confusing, but just keep saying yes to the download.

Sorry, nothing quite like that. Best I can do is a wolf pack, tho I could try to put something together like wind blowing thru a cave. I'd just have to modify one of my fx & maybe add echo. Maybe even something like water dripping in a cave/dungeon. If you're interested, let me know.

wow that would be awesome! expressly the wind and water dripping.. that's talent!

sfxpart2 errors Data error = environment sfx\wind2.wav file is broken

Data error in = military sfx\46 Track 46.wav File is broken

sfxpart3 data error in military.sfx track 46.wav file is broken.

I downloaded both file twice to make sure the results were the same.. No big deal just a wonderful resource for this wannabe game maker.

Many thanks.. anything you need?

meows....

Well, I'll see what I can do. Might take a while, though; my hard drive got frazzled and I'm having to rebuild my program files. Once I get my audio software reloaded I'll work on it.
