Geek Culture / Siri just can't learn!

After seeing an app that let's me call up siri by simply saying a keyword (like "siri") it was disappointing that it hasn't been updated to work on iOS7 yet. But you can change siri to a guy's voice, and so began my attempt at training siri to accept a new name. It didn't go well....


Me: What is your name?
Siri: My name? It's Siri.

Me: Your name is Jarvis.
Siri: Sigh. I think that guy cheated off my exam in our Intelligent Assistant finals.

Me: Your name is Jarvis.
Siri: Hold on. Let me tell Ms. Potts you'll be late for dinner. Again.

Me: Your name is Jarvis.
Siri: I'm afraid I can't help you make a flying suit.

Me: Can I change your name?
Siri: But... everyone else calls me Siri.

Me: You're useless!
Siri: Well... I'm still here for you.

I tried that. It'll call me tony stark but i can't make siri change its name. I think siri got dumber in ios7. It can't tell what i'm saying half the time.

I've heard a lot of complaints on Siri since iOS 7 came out.

That Cortana from Windows Phone sounds and looks so much better, IMHO.
