Does anyone else do this? Once or twice a week I'll go around to several thrift stores and go treasure hunting. I like to look for old or unique books and anything that really catches my interest. Idk, it tends to be random lol.

Here's my awesome finds today:

Fantasy Wargaming by Bruce Galloway
Cost: $0.52

Advanced D&D: Eye of the Beholder III, Assault on Myth Drannor
Cost: $1.50(50% off)

I love the old books. I always feel like it was a time when table top games were more of a hobby, when people drew there own maps and just used whatever models they had to hand. It seemed a bit more imaginative and creative.

I used to have some old 80s computer magazines for the Amiga. Those, along with all the original boxes for the games, were lost or destroyed a few years ago thanks to my idiot brother.

I used to do this all the time. The owner of my local pawn shop used to let me exchange a ps1 game for a ps1 game, play it and trade it in for a different one - I played most of the great ps1 games without paying for any of them.
