Hi, and here I am again with my questions. I am making a 360 degree style 3d shooter in the vein of Descent and Terminal Velocity, but have run into a bit of a snag using DarkAI in this kind of game.

Enemy ships have patrol paths which have to go OVER some terrain pieces and obstacles, but due to the DarkAI commands only accept the x and z coordinates, I am having trouble setting up patrol paths on the y axis, and also having enemy ships fly up or down to intercept you depending on your height, while still using the automated AI system. Is there any workaround? Many thanks in advance.
