Good evening everybody,

I am currently re-installing DB Pro with the various plugins I own on a new PC OS installation after reformat.

My configuration is the following:
- Packard Bell Easy Note DT85, Centrino Core 2 Duo 2ghz, 4go Ram, SSD (250mo) and HDD (500 mo), nvidia GeForce GT 240 m 1go (latest nVidia drivers installed)
- OS is window 7 64 bits (premimum)
- Direct X 11
- Direct X June 2010 reinstalled

I installed the last version of DB Pro (RC 7.7 update) and I reinstalled 2 of my plugins that are Dark Physic and LUA but after correct installation (all files have been copied in the DB Pro installation repository) the plugins seem to be not activated as it is not possible to compile any demo project.

I would like to highlight the fact that in the previous configurations (same hardware but Window 7 32 bits (premimum) and after Window 7 64 bits (premium)), all was working well but unfortunately I needed to reimpact my PC due to some HDD issues that required me to reformat my PC.

Is there anybody who can help me and explai how to solve this kind of issue, knowing I already tried to uninstall DB Pro and plugins and reinstaled them with administrative rights?

Please note also that I installed those software from simple User account but that the installation application required me to authenticate as Administrator.

In advance, may thanks for any help and/or any idea to solve this kind of issue.

Michel

Install this...

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/physx_system_software_uk.html

And you need DirectX9.0c...

You should also run DBPro as an admin, would be best as well if you installed into another folder such as D:\DBPro

Hope this helps...

Thank you very much MrValentine, but unfortunatelly the proposed solution does not waork:
- I have installed DirectX9.0c over DirectX11 and, I would say, 'standard' DB Pro demo projects are working well. So I believe DirectX9.0c is installed and is working well ebven if DirectX 11 is present.
- Latest nVidia drivers are installed (complete nVidia drivers suite) and they already include a newer version of PhysX than the one contained by the individual package you have proposed.
- I already tried to run DB Pro as admin but from my user account (i.e. execute as administrator). I am going to try directly as Admin logged. May be it will work better.

Best regards.

No chance,

I just tried to make the LUA Unity plugin functional but it does not work.
I was logged as Administrator and I installed the LUA Unity plugin, all was working well, all files copied, key word list updated, unity demo projects installed, atc ... but when a project is loaded and when I try to launch it, I have a runtime error wich indicate me that Unity Lua command is unknown (in instance load script command, the demo project tested is the garden one).

Moreover I just saw that the unity plugin is not colored/highlighted in the plugin list box which is launched when editor is starting (i.e. about plugin module popup).

I guess so that the Unity LUA plugin is installed but not activated.

Is there a way to force activation manually (I just want also to say that the plugin has been officialy bought)?

Many thanks, again

Michel

When you installed the plugins did you complete the activator?

Many thanks again ... and apologise for the dummy message ... arrffff
