Look in your docs folder where you installed FPSC
Look at ocfpscguide,Complete Script Syntax List,FPS Creator Manual

They will tell you a lot

:state=0,playerwithinzone=1:state=1,sound=$0

Basically what this means is...

if state=0 and and the player is in the zone, advance the state to 1 and play the default assigned sound.

To understand why it means this, see the post above.

Are you familiar with any programming languages? Do you understand the concept of an if/then statement?

If so, everything after the first colon is a condition or "if", and everything after the second colon is an action or "then". Now you just have to learn what the conditions and actions do.
