Hi

Was hoping some of you might give me some feedback on my entry.
Any problems you might have with it or suggestions.
This is the first game i have ever written (come close to finishing)so any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

There are more on the web page as well as a download of the current build if you want to try it out.

It ran a bit slow on my computer (15 fps).

It was frustrating how low my rate of fire was compared to the enemies but other than that, it was a pretty solid remake.

Well done.

Chirs thanks for your post.

I might have to rework the firing rate.
At the moment the system works on 1 bullet. It has to pass out of the field of play or hit something (bad alien) before you can fire again.

Maybe a charge system would be better?

Can you tell me your system configuration and what in game setting you ran the game on when you got 15fps? If you can post your fps for the 3 settings (high medium low) it might help me narrow down the cause of the fps drop.

Thanks again

It was a bit obvious that it was only one bullet.
I have a fast PC, just no 3D card (not that I know of!)

2.5 GHz
512 MB RAM

It's got some intergrated thing.
How do I check what it is?

Thanks.

Sorry about hijacking your thread your thread there, statman.

Anyway:

I think you should make everything bigger, I just think it would give it a friendlier, more cartoony style. Get some free MIDI music as well.

Dr OcCult: Thanks for your comments

Chris Knott: Thats an interesting idea about the size. If i get it to work and balance the game with it i will post some more screen shots.
