Hi there,
I've just gotten this software and started to dabble in it. I added an extra code file to my project and tried to put an #insert command into the main, but I get the following error:

error: Unrecognised compiler directive, only compiler directives may begin with a hash

#include seems to work just fine, but I need to drop my code in at a certain point where it populates some objects (reference data basically). The #insert keyword highlights as if it were going to work.

Anyone else seen this or have ideas?

Thanks

Thanks, looks like I was off by one on the string comparison length, fixed for the next version.

Is there still a problem with #insert?
I am using the steam version of AppGameKit v2 (version 2.0.9) and I get the following error:

main.agc:17: error: Unexpected token "#insert"

When I use #include instead of #insert I get no error and everything compiles fine.

Yes, I am aware that I sound like a caveman to native english speakers

Errrm... seriously?
AGK is way more "wet" than I expected when buying it.
So, what am i supposed to do now if #insert is vital for the project i'm working on?

Take a chill pill and wait till it is fixed or work around it by using #include. Imho if you depend on #insert, then your code is maybe very unorganized. So you should enhance it so it will be usable with #Include?

No software is without bugs. And so is AGK2. I am sure they will fix it quickly. But how do you define wet?

Well, long story short, i had to make the code less organised than it should have been in concept because i bumped into other problems within AGK. Doesn't matter. A documented function should work anyway.

"New and buggy", i think. Excuse me if i just pulled a word out of my language without looking for replacement in English.

Any better way to get devs' attention to a bug than posting here?

For version Alpha 9 I would post it here:
