My company produces digital language laboratories for language teaching.
Teachers are always coming up with nice additions that they would like. Mostly we try to implement them.
Ultimately, they want the software to teach the class, set the work, mark the work, enter the results into a spreadsheet, provide sensitive non-judgmental pastel colour-coding where there is never any red because red is an unacceptable tint of failure, want voice-notes on student work so that they don't have to type anything, adjust on an almost weekly basis to the ever-shifting requirements of governments here there and everywhere, provide French menus and so on because anything in English is to the French what a crucifix is to Dracula, provide lovers of various flavours whilst respecting their right to privacy in their preference settings, automate their prayers, send their shopping list to Tesco, create the perfect lesson plan and ensure that it's accidentally copied to Senior Management.
Over 14 years of development I reckon we have delivered a lot of this.
There may be a bug somewhere, because so far hordes of gorgeous women are not breaking down the doors to get in and have their way with the programmers. Would anybody like to assist with this project? We are looking for women (and men) with a huge desire to assist a research project and not a lot to do in the afternoon.
