AppGameKit Classic Chat / Stem version is getting more frequent updates?!?

How about those of us which have been using AppGameKit since the very beginning and have no need or desire to use Steam? We now have to rely on 'less frequent' updates?

I guess that the reason for this is that it is easier to release updates through Steam than it is to make installer packages.

Exactly that, to build a version for our website requires me to build and upload nearly 700MB of data, whereas Steam does a difference so the VS2013 update was just 7MB. It's also not as convenient for users having to download 700MB and reinstall for every update. I've considered if we could do some kind of difference updater ourselves but that would be a lot of work when other AppGameKit features need doing.

Paul - Use Advanced Installer. It's very easy to do deltas.

I downloaded the Delphi 7 Update 1 pack this afternoon. 5.3 gigabytes!!!
