hi.
1 ) i know this feature of darkbasic, but i cant find this in help files.

can u help me?

2 ) the exported object maintains the texture and features that have given the object?
ie if you link land with a tree and the tree is transparent in the resulting object maintains transparency or should I put the dbo as transparent

1) Look under Basic 3D Commands...

2) Not sure what you mean regarding the DBO, but just use Set Object Transparency and cycle through the numbers until you hit a satisfactory result...

pamercomov, to link objects together and save them as a dbo file you need to make a mesh from the objects and add the mesh as a limb to an existing object. After a limb is added to the object the original object and mesh is no longer needed, unless you want to add more limbs from the mesh..

WickedX - That is some nice code, thanks for sharing it!

I made a slight modification to it, adding some timers and sync calls to see the action

Happy to help. Unfortunately you cannot set the limbs with different transparency setting. However, you can set the objects transparency and texture the limbs separately with images that have alpha transparency settings.

@MrValentine: Thanks, your code really makes a great visualization of the process
