What doesn't work and on what platform. I have things with the latest 2.0.11 on Android and iOS devices and it seems to work fine.

So you press broadcast and it doesn't work ? The wifi is connected on the phone ?

You aren't by any chance using something else as a Wifi source. I've got a router, a PC and an old iMac (for Apple stuff), all three are wifi sources (i.e. you can connect to them). I have noticed that if I write something on the PC and the phone is connected to the iMac's wireless it sometimes doesn't work and vice versa. If you are in a block of flats it's possible your devices might be on different networks. I don't know how well it works through router-amplifier devices either.

The other thing I've come across, with iOS but may apply to Android is some older things don't work. I have an old iPod Touch of my daughters which I hoped to use as a 'really old Apple kit' and it gives a network error when I try to run the iOS application.

OTOMH when you start up the player application it displays an IP address, can you ping it from your developer machine ? (start a command prompt and type ping 192.168.137.35 or whatever the address is). This is a basic test to see if they can talk to each other.

Remember to update the player to the newest version that follows the 2.0.11 installation!

Sometimes computers and devices just really want the extra attention. So they misbehave for a while and then mysteriously work again after they've made you pay a lot of attention to them.

Cheers,
