I'm not too keen on the coins, but I was thinking about pickups earlier and thought of Seahorses.
They are small, cute, and don't swim fast, but I wasn't sure about a jellyfish eating them because I thought they only eat plankton.
I guess I was wrong...

Anyway, that was my thoughts on the pickups for points bonuses.
I hadn't thought of extra lives since you only have one, but that is a good idea.
Forgive me if I am making too many suggestions, but I like this game and I keep having thoughts about how to improve it.
Not that it needs improving, its just that my creative juices flow too much sometime on things that interest me.
