AppGameKit Classic Chat / Texture sizes

Whilst I am fully aware of the need for power of two textures, does AppGameKit require the textures to be square?
Is there any performance hit for having a texture that is 1024x128?

No, power of two can be any size even 1x1024 without any padding.

Using AppGameKit V2 Tier 1

That's what I suspected but I wasn't 100% sure there be no padding.
