Hello guys! I'm new in the world of AGK2. I was Unity developer since 3 years. But yet i want try out some other cool game engine. I have searched what is powerful for 2D and easy so my decision was AGK. I have tried out a little bit and played a little bit with it. So here is my question is it possible to Create an Bitmap Font with BMGlyph and convert it to AGK2. And how it works.

Thank you guys for your help.

if the font is
custom.png
agk look for a file
custom subimages.txt
what describes the char position in the image.

Hello,

yes you can, like so:

Note that you need a subimage text file in the same folder and with the same FILENAME + " subimages.txt" as the font image.
Each line in "font subimages.txt" = imageName:X:Y:Width:Height
Example:

[Edit]Oh after reading your question again: I don't answer the Converting part too.

Thank you so much guys. Wow what a wonderful community. I feel me at home . Okay a question about the subimage bmglyph don't create this files or? I don't have seen a file called subimages.

Markus thanks for the solution but my problem is i'm on mac so just the option to use BMGlyph (only for mac)

So that is the problem and create an virtual machine just for bitmap font generation is it not worth i think.

So thats the reason i ask about BMGlyph.

But you guys helped me thank you guys for the warm welcome greetings too

I recently contacted the creator of bmglyph as I need a font tool for the mac.

He is adding the funcionality to export in agk format, and said it could be as soon as this weekend.
