Is there a way to retrieve the phone's IMEI string with AGK2? I thought GetDeviceID() might do it, but it doesn't.

That totally depends on the context of the app being written. For the particular app I have in mind, getting the IMEI is very desirable.

It is simple enough to do on Android in Tier2 as there are well documented methods using NDK (I'm sure other platforms will have similar). I'd just rather not dip into Tier2 if I can help it.

In Italy who takes IMEI from a phone go to jail.
Inform yourself in which country it can be done to not have problems.
