Hi all!

I am back to present you my latest published game developed using AGK2 T2: Sticky Orbs!

Description:

Sticky Orbs is an addictive physics-based game with a one simple aim: Transport orbs from their initial location to pre-defined finish.

In each level of Sticky Orbs, the player is given a number of orbs, and he needs to move them to a final location. But it’s not that easy! To move orbs, the player has only available a limited number of anchor points where an elastic band is stretched until it sticks to the orb. Once the elastic band is released, the force built through the tension will catapult the orb, thus providing the required propulsion. When the player identifies that the power and trajectory is good, he clicks on the screen to remove the anchor, and the orb will move towards the planned destination.

Great game, downloaded, reviewed, +1d review will show as Paul Harthen.

Very nice effects, I like the elastic physics on the strings!
Great effort. Well done.

The Amiga and Amos were great!

From what I have heard there is a basic/simple version of it built into AppGameKit however it is not unlocked and most probably if it was, wouldn't work correctly without some extra work being done on it first.

Thanks guys. Was a nightmare making those joints behave

bjadams, unfortunately no. I've ported it using DirectxTK (had previous experience using XNA, so it was "simple"). Before that I had asked Paul to provide a dynamic agk lib (because the store does not accept static libraries) but came to a dead end because there were commands referring to the filesystem, which again the store did not like.

edit: btw, it is on the Windows store and not Windows phone. I am currently working on the WP port as, although Microsoft is pushing for universal apps, games are not that straightforward...
