Hi,
I know shaders are great for all things sprite related but do they also effect the appearance of 3D planes and meshes? I was hoping that the option to load normal maps would instantly give a feeling of depth on a 3D plane and not just look identical as surely that's the whole point of the perimeter? Is there something I'm missing here without delving into shaders or are normal maps linked to shaders only.
Plus I'm finding the whole lighting process a bit strange (on mac) and have only managed to get one light working which is very strange. I can understand it if I had an intel card but surely a GTX 660 3G should be able to handle a bit more than this? Will keep experimenting.
I'm guessing that range can be any size and colours are 0-255 when setting up a light. It's all very vague in the help texts.
If anyone has any shaders that work with planes and normals then please let me know as I'd love to try one out before I buy the sprite illuminating software.
I'm hoping that now the 3D command enhancements are in sight we will be able to take AppGameKit to the next level.
If it's not broken don't keep trying to fix it.
