Create a texture flare at its base and animate that...

I don't see anything usefull for my purpose on that page, also those animated sprites seems a bit outdated, only a few are still decent

Look around for tutorials or websites that sell game assets... Or make your own...

There are plugins and add-ons from TGC that have flame effects... Depends on what you want as a fire...

Why not look at particle effects? There is I think a free download for particle effects with that cloth thing...

I think you misunderstood my 1st message, I already have the fire animation, I just want to put a light to make the terrain around the campfire lighter, as it should be in real life.
Without the light I would just have the fire, but the ground around the fire would be as dark as the ground where there is no campfire, which is not realistic, the terrain already use a shader so I cannot apply another shader with a light and positioning it there, as the shader use a directional light, also I would make 2 or 2 campfires so will still not work.
I just want to understand why the light doesn't work at all and if there is a workaround for this

You could try adding a small ghosted object around the fire to give the required effect.

Quote: "the only problem is that if I make a new light and add it on the terrain (maybe 100 units above the campfire), the terrain is not affected at all by the light I have made, why is that?"

When you use a shader you need to add lights via the shader code.

I will try the ghosted object, or maybe I will use the Alpha map to chose better how much to fade it.
For the lights, sadly I don't know how to add them on a shader, my knowledge about shader code is close to zero
