For getting first place in the Ambassador track of the RealSense Contest:

https://software.intel.com/sites/campaigns/realsense-winners/details.html?id=2

I managed to win a camera, Intel subscription and $1000 in the Pioneer track.

Gratz!

The depth effect looks really good; the effect is most clear when you rotate your head. Just look down and up pops the menu; who needs a mouse.

Yes, well done TGC, excellent idea

Unfortunately I never won any of the final prizes, although I did get a NUC, and a realsense camera.

I am really proud of my entry, it is quite fun to play, hopefully I can do something with it one day.

Congrats Lee! Didn't even know there was a contest going on for that.

Very cool, congrats! I was wondering how the AppGameKit community did in this one but didn't get a chance to look over the results yet. For the first year in three I didn't participate in any Intel competitions (although I did do some work with them outside of it to redo my original Perceptual Computing winner for RealSense tech).

There is a running theme with a lot of the entries (including mine).
When you look at the videos, you see the application running on a Lenovo All-In-One A lot of the entrants are regular contributors to the contests.

Ha ha yes, I just use mine as a monitor, it's a little slow for general use. Although we sometimes gather around it on Friday night for family game night, some good multiplayer games on there

You going to show us your demo BatVink?

I am typing this on my All-In-One, used as a monitor!

Sadly no AppGameKit or DBPro for this one. I have since worked out how to get c# and AppGameKit working together, so maybe next time.

This is something that would interest me. I have a love for C#, if I could use C# & AppGameKit together, chances are, I'd hop onto that bandwagon.

I have posted the source code for the basic framework, and a video to explain how it all hangs together. I will post another video shortly to show how I am using it.
