Just saw this from Rick V on Steam:

Hi Starfishpool, we are planning to create a asset store for AppGameKit soon. It will come in a similar style to our FPS Creator Reloaded store that you can see here; http://en.tgcstore.net/ It might be a good idea to sign up to the store so you can start offering free music to game designers using our game making tools. "

This is fantastic news!

@TGC - Can someone write a script to synch these boards with those on steam please? I don't often visit the steam boards so would be nice to keep up with discussions there. Thanks!

Agreed
A store for AppGameKit should do well.

I'd definitely buy shaders.

I love my Altair 8800 Replica.

Hi,

Longer term we do plan to link in AppGameKit with the store. We feel it's best we first develop the 3D engine for AppGameKit and then roll out a store service for it.

Could this also include 2d assets and music, sound effects, etc. Not just 3d assets?

The Amiga and Amos were great!

Will the store work for those who did not purchase their copy of AppGameKit via Steam? GameGuru will only download purchased assets from the GameGuru client, and whether I like it or not, I have to link my Steam account to my TGC account to access items I have purchased.

Will the AppGameKit asset store work the same?

I hope and if it only works with Steam I think TGC should provide all users a Steam key for AGK.

Asset store is a fantastic idea though.
