AppGameKit Classic Chat / Program continues in background

Does anyone else have the problem where their app continues to run and consume CPU when it is in the background (i.e. if user hits the home button)? Ideally I'd like to see my app drop to 0 cpu until it is resumed.

Also, is it possible to capture a 'home button' press in Tier 1 so I can save the game before going to background?

You can't capture it on the way out because it is out of your control.
But you can test for GetResumed() on the way back in. I haven't tested the Timer() to see if it continues at the point it left off.
