Hello All,

I have been developing my Pixel Effects program on two different PC's, using Dropbox to sync them.

Well, this had been working fine, until I realized that I had not synced on one of my PC's before making changes to the program. Dropbox showed a copy of the files I changed, noting that they had not synced properly.

I have sinced cleaned up the erroneous copies, but now I have a weird issue where the Keyboard and Mouse do not always respond the first time, or sometimes even the second or third time, that I press them.

Has anyone else seen an issue like this, and if so, have you been able to resolve it?

I'm thinking that I have to scrap the current files and paste my code into a new project, but wanted to see if anyone else had a better solution. Pretty sure my code is fine, since I haven't changed that part in a while and it was working previously.

Thank you,
JHA

I have used dropbox in this manner but not had this issue, or any others for that matter... sorry. I do think it's worth trying copying the code into a new project though.

Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue either, so it may very well be my code or possibly my PC.

I have released Alpha 1a, in the Showcase post, to see if anyone else sees the same issue. I also fixed the flickering issue on the Preview Panel.

Will try and see if get chance to download tomorrow and check it but had no issues with it on the first version you uploaded.

I had a similar thing with my menu system on Paint Pot on iOS at first however this was a setting in my programming detecting my colour panel moving instead of the click to select the colour so I just changed the sensitivity and it was fine.
Used GetPointerPressed and GetSpriteHit for that.

Not sure about dropbox though.

The Amiga and Amos were great!

Thanks Paul.

I tried using the older version and it worked just fine.
DANG IT!! It's The Code!!

I am still curious to see if anyone else gets the responsiveness issue though. I now expect that they will.

Thanks Again!

RESOLVED!!

It was my code, but it didn't have anything to do with the mouse detection routines.

I had a rogue SYNC() command that was running on every loop to draw the Preview Image, when I should only be drawing it, if something had been changed on the Canvas.
