I'm running a Tier 2 build of the template android project from Eclipse on an HTC Inspire.

Installation works correctly, but I get this error message when the app starts:

"Failed to open file for writing /JoystickOuter.png"

Appears to be file write permissions related but I'm afraid I'm not sure how to go about resolving this.

Thanks in advance for any advice offered!

Not yet a solution but at least a problem shared. Thought it was something I've done, but at least I am not alone.
Just started happening after lots of tests, and I have a suspicion it might be I was being 'tidy minded' and deselected the read/write option when creating the apk..

Gonna check just now.

OK, thats what caused my issue. When building the apk, I thought to be tidy, deselect what I didn't need. Seems we DO need to leave read/write permissions even if our app doesn't input/output as such...
