I get this message when trying to publish to Google Play. I had 2 prior versions in Alpha. But no matter what I put in the Version Code (e.g 3) I get this error.

I unpacked the AndroidManifest.xml, but the versioncode is unreadable.

Any ideas?

Are you using Eclipse, Android Studio, or AGK's Tier 1 automatic APK builder? I believe that in Android studio if you want to change the version number you have to update the gradle config files.

This program can be used to decompile an APK which should also decode the manifest so you can read it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33815550#post33815550

Thanks Sean.

It was the AppGameKit T1 Builder. I eventually got it to work by entering Version code 10, Build 10.
It doesn't look good, but it works.

I worked it out, the AppGameKit export wording is incorrect.

AGK Version Number = Android Version Name
AGK Build Number = Android Version Number
